Hi I’m Kashvi! Misty Realms was started by me in 2021. After being an avid reader for the entirety of my life, the year 2021 truly gave me time to reflect upon how monotonous the kind of books I was reading had become. I was never able to read about characters from diverse background or characters like me, because they were never popular in media. Through Misty Realms I made it my goal to create a space for myself as well as others to read, discover, and advocate for the various books that never seem to make it as big as the same old popular ones. In this journey I understood the importance of boosting marginalised voices, so that everyone’s story had a chance to be heard, and tried to involve this same spirit in all the recommendations, reviews, as well as interviews I put out. I think Misty Realms is a perfect reflection of my reading journey and also of how I’ve grown into a person who is open to new ideas, concepts, and beliefs. So, I hope you enjoy it here!
